It Seems Like Yesterday. . .It’s hard to believe another year has come and (almost, at least) gone. But with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Conference & Expo knocking at our door, there can be no denying it. It seems like just yesterday that we gathered in Las Vegas at the annual convention to introduce REALTOR® Lockbox NXT. But as the old saying goes, “That was then, this is now.” And with just a few months remaining in 2008, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some significant milestones SentriLock, which is majority owned by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, accomplished this year–with your help.

Christine Todd Appointed to Board of DirectorsSentriLock is pleased to announce that Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® CEO Christine M. Todd has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. Todd, a respected industry CEO with more than 30 years of real estate experience, will provide strategic direction to the company and keen insight into helping shape enhancements and future product development. “I am delighted to serve on the SentriLock Board of Directors,” Todd said. “I trust my daily observation of the lockboxes in use, coupled with my years of experience as a REALTOR® Association Executive will guide me in being a valuable and practical contributor to the future growth and prosperity of SentriLock.” “We’re honored to have someone of Christine’s caliber, talent and experience, join our board of directors,” SentriLock President and CEO Scott Fisher said. |
SentriLock Reaches Major Milestone: 200 Clients in Just Five YearsSentriLock is a mere five years old. But in that brief time, the company has achieved a number of milestones. In fact, just last month, the company reached one that really stands out. In October, the Crisp Area Board of REALTORS® in Leslie, Georgia, became the 200th client to select SentriLock and its REALTOR® Lockbox. “We are very proud of our growth and the satisfied customers who have put their faith in SentriLock and our products,” SentriLock President and CEO Scott Fisher said. “We’ve worked hard to build a flexible solution that caters to the diverse needs of our clients, who include some of the largest Associations in the country as well as Boards with fewer than 100 members.” From the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® in Chicagoland, to the Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. We’ve Summed it Up in Two Words: Customer Focus
At its recent meeting, SentriLock’s Customer Focus Group named Steve Meszaros Chairperson of the group, which comprises nationally recognized industry leaders. Meszaros is with the Carroll County Association of REALTORS® in Maryland. At the same meeting, members named Christy Pierangeli, of the Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS®, as User Group Liaison. The Customer Focus Group met last month at SentriLock’s Cincinnati headquarters to help plan future product enhancements and key initiatives. The mission of the group is to work with the User Group and SentriLock executives to help prioritize product development initiatives that best represent the interests of the entire real estate industry. In addition to taking a tour of SentriLock’s lockbox production facility, the group discussed a variety of initiatives during the two-day meeting, including customer support and service, Web functionality, third-party integration and product development. |

At SentriLock, we’re proud of the trust and loyalty we’ve earned from our customers – so much so that we provide a list of current clients along with their telephone numbers so prospects can call and do their own homework. The Envelope, Please: SentriLock Ranked Number One. . . Again
For the second consecutive year, SentriLock has been ratedd America’s number one lockbox provider in four out of five key areas, including overall satisfaction, according to a national survey. The survey also rated SentriLock number one in lockbox product, service and system. In terms of overall satisfaction, the top three lockboxes were rated on a scale of 1 to 5, with “1″ indicating very negative and “5″ indicating very positive. With an average overall satisfaction rating of 3.93, SentriLock scored the highest. The survey was distributed in September 2008 to 1,094 local and state REALTOR® Association Executives (AEs) and MLS executives, and was conducted by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®’ Marketing Research Department “We were extremely happy and proud last year when we were ranked at the top, so I can’t begin to describe how pleased we all are to claim the number one spot two straight years,” SentriLock President and CEO Scott Fisher said. “In just five years, SentriLock has worked extremely hard to deliver products that not only meet, but exceed the high expectations of the real estate professionals we serve.” The survey asked respondents to rank several factors in order of importance when selecting a lockbox vendor. AEs and MLS executives said simplicity of use, price and home security were the three highest priorities when selecting a lockbox vendor. Respondents ranked conversion/expense, member disruption and resistance to change by their members as the “most significant barriers” to changing lockbox providers. |
‘The Simplicity of SentriLock’s System is Beautiful’
For the past two years, RealTracs, the Middle Tennessee Regional MLS, faced a dilemma: its eight associations representing 11,800 real estate professionals were using multiple lockbox vendors. The extra administration and inconveniences of the multi-lockbox approach had gotten old. So when the time came to transition to a single lockbox solution that met everyone’s needs, RealTracs chose SentriLock. “The simplicity of SentriLock’s system is beautiful,” said RealTracs CEO Stuart White. “The SentriCard is much easier to carry around than a display key. We always believed SentriLock was a good lockbox solution, and now we have a single lockbox provider.” RealTracs, the largest regional multiple listing service in Tennessee, has earned a reputation for staying at the forefront of technology. “RealTracs is one of the leading multiple listing services in the country, and it’s an honor to have been selected as their electronic lockbox solution,” SentriLock President Scott Fisher said. “We look forward to converting their members to Sentrilock during the first quarter of next year.” White noted that the selection of SentriLock unifies the eight associations onto one lockbox platform and streamlines administrative operations while increasing efficiencies for members. “Customer service and support was huge for us and we wanted assurances about the level of support we would receive if there’s a problem,” White said. “We knew SentriLock excelled in these areas, which made our decision easier.” In fact, SentriLock was recently rated 4.18 (on a scale of 1 to 5), in lockbox service in a national survey of REALTOR® Association Executives (AEs) and MLS executives that was conducted by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®’ Marketing Research Department. |
